There are some basic steps that have to be followed to get this certification and these include:

1. Registration of examination online on the IBM website through payment of required fee.

2. Candidates get a confirmation mail with allotted dates as well as time for the examination.

3. Candidates are required to reach the venue before 15 minutes of exam and show the details to test centre to appear for the exam.

4. An online exam would be taken for 3 hours and the score will be discovered after completion

5. Candidate has to wait for 5 days to receive the first certificate of test from IBM on the registered email ID.

6. A premium certificate may be obtained from IBM by registering the scores on their certification website.
