Exam: Oracle 1z0-869 - Java Mobile Edition 1 Mobile Application Developer Certified Professional
With the acquisition of Sun by Oracle, the Sun SCMAD (Sun Certified Mobile Applications Developer) Certification has now becomethe Oracle Certified Professional, Java ME 1 Mobile Application Developer. The exam code for this is 1Z0-869.
This certification exam is intended for developers and programmers that regularly use the Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME) technologies to develop applications for mobile devices, such as cell phones and wireless devices that are Java enabled. By passing the Sun SCMAD exam, you certify that you are proficient with mobile Java applications, as well as with the specifications outlined in the JTWI (Java Technology for Wireless Industry). This includes the Wireless Messaging application programming interface and Mobile Media application programming interfaces.
Before taking this exam, you must first be certified as a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform.
Exam information:
The SCMAD/OCPJMAD exam is available at authorized PerasonVue testing centers. It consists of 68 multiple-choice questions. A passing score of 54% or better is required (37 or more of 68 total questions). You will have up to 150 minutes to complete this exam.
